Plot : Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is an animated comedy full of action and adventure directed by Carlos Saldanha and Mike Thurmeier. After the events of Ice Age: The Meltdown, life takes a new turn for Manny (Ray Romano) and his friends. Scrat tries to keep his favorite acorn with him and also attempts to start a romantic relationship with Scratte, a female sabre-toothed squirrel. Manny’s newlywed wife, Ellie (Queen Latifah), is pregnant with their child, and he tries to ensure that everything is just right at the time of his baby’s birth. Diego (Denis Leary) starts thinking that he is becoming too careless after he becomes irritated with everyone for treating him like a house-cat. Sid (John Leguizamo) ends up in a strange underground world after stealing dinosaur eggs to have his own family. His herd then has to rescue him, while escaping dinosaurs and facing various dangers. The herd also meets intent dinosaur hunter, known as Buck (Simon Pegg), who is a cyclops weasel.
