Directed by Anne Fletcher, The Proposal is a romantic comedy drama. Margaret Tate, an executive editor-in-chief of a publishing company, has to go back to Canada. She doesn’t want so and in order to prevent so, she asks Andrew Paxton, her subordinate, to marry her. He says yes and proposes his own conditions for marriage. Initially, it was more like a deal but as time passes by, they start to fall in love with each other. Everything takes an unexpected change and Margaret is given only 24 hours to return to Canada by the government. But before she leaves, Andrew proposes her.
